Unwell Children
Please keep your child away from the Pre-School if he/she is unwell and until any contagious illnesses are completely cleared. Please DO NOT send your child back to the pre-school until they are completely recovered. Please refer to “Exclusion Procedure for Illness Policy” available upon request.
In the event of diarrhoea and/or sickness, please do not bring your child into Pre-School until it has been 48 hours following their last bout, as set out by the Public Health Agency displayed on the parent’s noticeboard in the pre-school.
If a child becomes unwell at Pre-School we will; telephone the main contact parent/carer to collect the child as soon as possible. In the event of that person failing to answer the call, we will phone through to the next contact number, and so on until we get an answer.
Please see below a guide by the Public Health Agency on when to keep your child off school. If you click on the image, you will also be able to save a handy PDF copy for future reference.
